Music, film, fashion, theatre, and beer: Clapperclaw does it all! 2009 is the third year of this local independent festival and hopefully you've got September 5th marked on your calendar. There will be something for everyone at Intermedia Arts during the fest, but you know how we roll... we're all about the artists.

First off they've got live screen printing by Anthem Heart. We've done this at their studio and it's a lot of fun. You get to pick the colors and screens and a minute later you've got a pretty new one-of-a-kind shirt.

More things we're excited to see: The detailed animals of Kate Burgau (that's her art above), Shawn Dalsen's bright stencil work, and soft digital prints of wide-eyed girls by Jennifer Trotter. The website lists 20 artists total, plus local design darling Laura Fulk will be working the fashion side of the visual arts spectrum.
